Christian Voicu – A Passionate Photographer

My Way

Born and raised in Romania, near the hometown of Count Dracula, the beautiful city of Brasov. Anyone who knows Romania also knows that it wasn't always easy during the Ceausescu regime. Although we had a great time, everyone dreamed of exploring the world one day.

At the age of 15, after the Romanian revolution, my family and I immigrated to Germany. It wasn't always easy here, but with the support of my family and a bit of willpower, I managed to graduate from high school. A friend of mine was interested in hardware and software development, so I decided to follow the same path and graduated from the College of Communication and Information Technology. Although I was initially more interested in baking, I began to enjoy and love my new profession as a software developer.

In addition to my job, I discovered photography as a professional balance. For several years now, I have been capturing memories with a DSLR camera (Nikon D500). I love this camera, even though the technology is much more advanced, I haven't made the switch to the new DSLM yet. A new camera doesn't make better pictures, but a photographer's eye does!!!

I want to share my passion with the world and have therefore decided to do this via the internet. There are many tools to create a website, but since I am a software developer, I also have the ambition to create it myself. And this is the result. Everything is based on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the Python Flask Web Framework.
